REGULAR SCHEDULED TOURS:
The Lake of the Woods Cemetery has regular scheduled walking tours on Fridays in July and August from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. These tours are of an historical significance. No advance booking is required, just show up in day of tour.
The cost of the regular scheduled tour is $3.00.
The Cemetery offers a Mother's Day Tour each year on Mother's Day from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. which visits only female gravesites. No advance booking is required. Floral arrangements are available for purchase on this date.
The cost of this tour is $5.00.
The Cemetery also offers a Friday night fun tour called "A Walk on the Dark Side", the third Friday of June, July & August at 8:30 - 9:30 p.m.. Contact the Cemetery Office for specific dates (2006 Dates - June 23, July 21, & Aug. 18). No advance booking is required for this tour.
The cost of this tour is $5.00.
School tours are held in June and September at no cost. The school tours include headstone art, historical sites, traditions, belifs etc. These tours can be booked through the Cemetery Office. |
TOURS ON REQUEST:
Private one hour walking tours can be requested for special interest group, family reunions etc.
Monday - Friday -anytime between 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.
COST: $50.00 + $3.00 per person
Night Tours (between6 - 9p.m.) or Saturday Tours (between 10 a.m. -3 p.m.)
COST: $100.00 + $3.00 per person
